History:
I found my 1978 Cobra II 302/C-4 in the classified listed for $700 obo (complete
car not running). When I saw it and found out it was the original owner selling
it and it hadn't been driven since 1985. That's right 41,327 original miles. I
offered them $400 and they countered with $500, SOLD. I towed it home, changed
fluids and gave it a tune-up and started troubleshooting why it wouldn't start.
Turns out that it was the nuetral safety switch that kept this gem off the road
all these years. I'm currently removing all the old stripes getting it ready for
a new Polar White paint job. I replaced the seats with 1988 Escort GT reclining
buckets and replaced the 13x5.5 wheels with 16x8 95 Cobra R wheels sporting
Falken 512 tires 215/40-16 Frt, 225/40-16 Rr.
