History:This car started as a 4 cyl. 2+2 hatchback. I bought it in 88. It was very
clean.
But I wanted a T-roof V-8. Found one that looked clean in 1991 and started
taking it apart.
I soon found out it wasn't in all that good a shape. I brought it to a
restorer specialising in Mustangs. He took my very mint 4 Cyl, took the
T-roof off the other and installed it on the 4 Cyl. I then found a nice
rebuilt 1968 302 engine, with 289 high compression heads, 4 brl carb, dual
stainless steel exaust, 4 core rad, tranny cooler and for strength had frame
connectors welded on. It's going to be at Autorama 2001 in Ottawa, Canada in
April. It turns heads to say the least.
My dream car.
