My name is Brian Neal and I live in Mesa, AZ. I have a 76 Cobra and a 78 2+2 T-top that is being sripped down for a restomod.
I got this 76 Cobra II about 2 months ago. It lived it's whole life in Las Vegas, but now resides in the Phoenix area. It has a 302 with an 85 mustang GT 5-speed. The wheels are from a 2001 Bullitt Mustang GT. The paint was redone a couple years ago. It was originally blue with white stripes. Being in the desert, the optimal color for a car is white. Now the car is white with blue stripes. As you can see, the stripes do not follow the original scheme.
The engine was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago. The body has 140,000 on it. I have added an MSD billet distributor, ignition control, and wires. My first car was a 77 mach I that I had until I was 24. The motor burned up and the frame cracked, so I had to reluctantly scrap the car.
I am now 39, and finally have my favorite car back. The car gets lots of stares and compliments. It's not finished in the interior, but that will soon be done as funds become available.
