I've had lots of IIs, but my baby right now is my 76 Cobra II. After about a
10 year hiatus of not having any IIs, I got bit by the bug again and started
searching around for a nice white/blue car. I came across this one on a lunch
break one day, and the owner did not want to sell it, but had a second car
that I went and looked at. Long story short, after another couple of months, I
contacted him again, and he decided to sell it. It's a white/blue 76 Cobra II,
302/4 speed car.
I am slowly restoring the car back to complete factory
original condition, which has not been an easy task due to lack of correct
information and hard to find parts. So far I have re-done the entire blue
interior,
which is about 98% finished. I have started to work on the engine bay recently
as
well. The body has been repainted by the previous owner, and I will redo that
last. I have spent thousands of dollars obtaining NOS parts for the car, but
it really makes a difference in originallity detail.
I took the car out for the
first time this year, to the big annual Mustang Show here in NY recently, and
won first place in the class. I hope everyone enjoys the pics of my little
Cobra as much as I enjoy driving it.
