I have two Mustang IIs. They are both 1978s. One of them is a 2+2 with a V8, 88 mustang roller motor with 4 bbl intake and carb. I have a 355 posi in the 2+2, also it is need of restoration but is a sound car.
My other is a 78 King Cobra with t-tops. It has just been painted and now all I am looking for is the hard to find blue decal set. If I would have known that it was no longer available I would have thought twice before I took the sander to the other one.
My King Cobra is complete - the decal set, new interior, new motor, new trans. It is not all original, but it is close. I ran it on ebay 3 weeks ago before I started the paint and it could have gone for 7000. I just could not bring my self to sell it, guess it will be with me forever.
I have owned many of these cars over the years and they are a blast. I am glad I ran into you guys on the net, it is great to see other folks love these cars. There are too many haters here in Kansas, you know, the old pinto reject people. Oh well guess that is everywhere.
