 We restored this car in 92' & 93'. It was purchased from a teen ager who
street raced it to within an inch of its life. Every thing was removed
and thrown in the trash by this young fellow including the factory a/c
and all emmisions. The interior was less to be desired, the dash hacked
up for gauges and big stereo. We restored it back to it's formal glory
with returning it back to concourse stock and showed it on the MCA
circuit for several years. We gathered several first place wins
including a concourse gold at Charlotte Motor Speedway! The original 302
now has been pulled to be replaced with a 289 hi po block bored 40 over,
69 302/4bbl heads, flat tops pistons, matching intake, 650 holley(original
air cleaner still fits), blueracer cam 490 lift 280 duration cam,
roller rockers, nos hooker headers, flow masters w/aluminum exhaust..
just to have a little more fun!! All original equipment is carefully
stored away. Maybe someday we will go back concourse!! The exterior
still retains the stock appearance, future plans 4-wheel dsk brakes?
