	After searching for a COBRA II for a long time, I finally came across this beauty just a few weeks ago (January 2002). It is a 1976. The previous owner had done much restoration work to this car, including a new interior, new paint, new tires and custom wheels. The original chrome trim is still in like new condition, and there is VERY LITTLE rust on this car. The original, stock 2.8 liter V-6 engine runs strong, and coupled to the 4 speed manual transmission, this little car really gets going! Eventually I want to replace the current engine with the 302 V-8 to give it a little more OOMPH! I have a '76 Mach I that will be the donor. Although not in 'perfect' shape, this COBRA II needs very little to 'show'. As it is now, it is a REAL head turner, and GREAT for cruise nights. Everyone that sees it can't help but point and smile!
