I recently purchased a 78 King Cobra from a local bank as it was a repo
believe it or not! At first I did not pay much attention to it but as the summer
went by I became more curious. So one day my wife and I decided to take a look
at it. To our surprise it is in excellent condition and it only had 23,400
actual miles on it.I found the original owners warranty card in the glove
compartment and gave him a call. He provided me with a detailed history of the
car. After a few days of deliberation we called the bank and made them a offer
and the rest is history.
The car is equipped with a 4spd trans,AC, PB, PS,
T-top, black vinyl interior. We really enjoy the King Cobra immensely. It
is a very nice stablemate to my 66 HP coupe. 2 weeks after we got the car we
entered both in a local car show and the King Cobra took first place in its
class beating the likes of a BOSS 302 and a couple of Road Runners. People
were really amazed at the car. Most people had never heard of or seen a King
Cobra.
