I bought this car on ebay for $305. in September 2004. The car has just over 100k miles on it. It had been parked in 1982 when the original 2.3L engine had failed and someone tried the replace the 2.3L with a 2.0L . They made their own motor mounts and accessory brackets. They cut up the bell housing, exhaust, clutch fork, trans tunnel and underhood wire harness. They never finished the used 2.0L engine swap.
I have replaced alot of parts on this car. It now runs and drives well. The car is a factory 2.3L Cobra II with a 4 speed, luxury interior, leather wrapped steering wheel, rallye suspension, bumper guards and AM/ FM 8 track stereo. I have added a center console, white painted aluminum wheels and a 8" rear end. The car still needs body work, paint and decals. I also have a new headliner to install and may replace the windshield.
