I bought the car, wrecked, 21 years ago for $100.00 I immediately restored the car back to almost original V6 auto, with the factory brown metallic paint and finished all the chrome in "gold". I replaced the front seats with Toyota Celica high back reclining seats and refinished the interior to two tone brown.
The latest configuration was completed during 2004. It still has a few things I plan on doing so I guess it will probably never be totally complete. I built the car for show so I don’t drive it a great deal, anymore, and it sure turns heads when I do. Everyone who sees the car loves it, I can't count the times I've heard "I don't like Mustang IIs but I love your car." I tell them the car is basically stock body wise, except for shaved corner lights, driving lights, front turn signals, headlights and park lights. All moving parts in the car have been replaced front to rear except door hinges. I manufactured the hood lift kit to eliminate the hood prop rod.
There even avid Mustang owners and most others who don’t even know what it is. Most people say it is an early 1st gen. car.
