Hello my name is Jesse Talmage, I live in
Sardinia, Ohio and my 'stang was originally purchased
by my Grandma new in 1977. Grandma told me that she
and grandpa were in Cincinnati passing a Ford lot and
she saw a "cute little yellow mustang" she had to
have, so she bought it.
It was (and still is) a creme
yellow w/ creme yellow vinyl interior, gold or brown
(not sure which) metallic lower section tu-tone w/same
color pinstripes, a 2.3L inline 4cyl. w/ a C3 Auto
Trans, the bodystyle is a 2+2 hatchback, I believe It
has the appearance decor group , It also has the fold down
rear seat, the 3.18:1 code 4 axle ratio, I'm pretty
sure it has tinted glass, power steering & brakes,
AM/FM stereo radio, leather wrapped steering wheel,
styled steel wheels w/trim rings.
My evil Aunt
persuaded my grandma to sell it and get something
"nicer" than a "ugly little yellow mustang" (ugly,
WHATEVER!!). So she sold it. I hated my aunt for that!
It turns out that about 3 1/2 years later it turns up
for sale by the second owner in my hometown of
Sardinia! At this time I was about to get a '74 Dodge
Charger in near-junk condition. I never thought I'd
ever see my grandmas car again, but when I did I told
my Grandma about it, I wasn't asking her to buy it,
but she said she couldn't do it anyway.
So I let it
pass, but one day in August of '01 was awaken by my
parents and they said "come outside grandma want's to
see you" so I walked out in the livingroom expecting
to see grandma but mom said "no, outside" and so I
went outside and grandma was in the driveway with a
"cute little yellow Mustang" (I actually thought she
had bought it back for herself but she tossed me the
keys and told me it was mine. (I thought I was still
sleeping), but it was true and now I am the proud 3rd
owner of an all original, 36,500 mile Ford Mustang II,
and it sure is nice.
Grandma now has a Mazda and I got
the Mustang.
